2022 SOCIAL EVENTS
We have a number of Social Events to look forward to in 2022. These are Maggies Sports Lunch on Friday 25 February with well known local sports people attending, a Friday Night Dinner in March (date TBC), Ladies Day on the Saturday 2nd April and Paviors Centenary Ball on Saturday 25 June at the Crown Plaza hotel in Nottingham.
Firstly though we have Burns Night in a couple of weeks on Friday 21st January 7-11pm. To celebrate the work of Scotland's national bard Robert Burns. Our MC will welcome guests, the meal will be traditional and three courses, vegetable soup, Haggis with neeps and tatties followed by a delicious cranachan dessert. The Haggis will be piped in, addressed and carved. Speeches to the Lassies and replies to the Laddies, and of course the singing of Auld Land Syne. A quiz to keep us on our toes, dancing and no doubt a raffle. An evening of tradition with a twist of fun.
