Back in November 2021, our Under 10s team took part in the Prima Tiger Cup festival in Newark, one of rugby's biggest and longest-standing junior events. The kids played brilliantly and demonstrated all the values which make us so proud of them every week, and they were successful in making it through to the Prima Tiger Fenton Bowl to be held at Mattioli Woods Welford Road stadium.
So on Saturday 26th February, the team and their families and friends headed down to watch Leicester Tigers beat Gloucester, followed by the opportunity for the Under 10s to play rugby on the very same iconic pitch. What an experience! As before, the referees not only consider the actual match score to decide the outcome of a game, but four Fair Play categories which look at how the coaches, the players, and the parents & supporters demonstrate the core values of Rugby Union, plus the overall ethos of the club taking part. 
Our first match was against Lutterworth and our second against Shrewsbury. The children played strong rugby and really showed the skills they have been developing in recent months. Some excellent tries were scored and some brilliant tackles made. Most importantly, the kids all enjoyed the whole experience from start to finish! We are incredibly proud of each and every one of them for their achievement and for representing our Paviors family so well. Thanks also to all the coaches, parents, families and organisers.
