Saturday sees another busy day at Burntstump when thankfully we will be able to welcome spectators for the first time in 2021. Certain restrictions remain in place and no group should exceed 30 people in total, all socially distancing but it will be great to be ’open’ again.
So, from 10.30 we have the Inner Warrior Camp when we will be offering good coaching and lots of fun to Girls and Ladies as we build on the success to date. A Men’s 2/3rd XV will then take on Rolls Royce at 2.30, all on the main pitch in front of our popular outside bar. There will be plenty of food available out there as well as the Club Shop.
Keep an eye out for other games in June and especially the O2 Touch Club Tournament, an internal event where anyone, female and male, 14 years and older can join in the fun. It’s on the 12th June starting at midday and introducing some friends and neighbours to the Club would be great, so invite them along. They were great fun last year.
The AGM has been set for Monday 12th July and we will send out more information to all our Members ahead of that.
Further ahead on Saturday 14th August we have a live band at the Club and again more information will soon be with you.
So let’s make Saturdays return to near normal at the Stump a celebration of rugby, on and off the pitch.
