Paviors RFC is Proud to Support Roni Rusdale in His Inspiring Journey

At Paviors RFC, we are delighted to share the incredible endeavor that one of our own, Roni Rusdale, is undertaking for a noble cause. Roni will be embarking on a charity walk along the River Wharfe in Yorkshire, raising funds and awareness for Parkinson's sufferers. This remarkable journey will cover the entire length of the River Wharfe, from its source to its confluence with the River Ouse.

Walking for a Cause: From the Dales to the Vale

Roni's walk will take him through some of the most scenic landscapes in Yorkshire, starting from the rugged beauty of the Yorkshire Dales and winding through picturesque towns and villages before reaching the expansive Vale of York. The River Wharfe, known for its serene beauty and rich history, will serve as both a challenging route and a source of inspiration for Roni as he strides towards his goal.

Why This Walk Matters

Parkinson's disease affects millions of people worldwide, including many in our community. The disease is a progressive neurological condition that impacts movement and can severely affect the quality of life of those who suffer from it.
