Last weekend three days of frantic action saw Paviors RFC First XV progress to the final of the Notts, Lincs and Derbys Cup after defeating Glossop in a tight semi-final at Burntstump Paviors now play their Senior Final on Saturday May 27th, against Dronfield, at Newark RFC this Saturday evening kick-off 6p.m.
On Sunday 14th Paviors Under 15 Boys overcame Southwell to win their County Cup, while at home the Paviors 3rd XV were beaten by The CLW Dragons-a team mostly made up of Old Boys of Carlton le Willows School.
A large crowd, experiencing a lovely Spring Day enjoyed some great entertainment: group activities for youngsters, followed by a tag rugby display from the Under 11 Squad. Then there were two displays,pre-match and at half-time ,by the magnificent Dako Flying Angels Gymnastic Group-a group who’s gymnastic prowess thrilled onlookers.
