Funeral arrangements for Paul Majewski (Mag)

Thank you to everyone for all the kind sentiments and memories you have shared of Mag which we have found hugely comforting at this difficult time. Under normal circumstances, we would have extended an open invitation to anybody who wished to attend the funeral service however, due to COVID, the current Government restrictions dictate that the maximum number of people who can attend a funeral is 30. The majority of these places have been taken by family members. Regretfully, we therefore have to restrict attendance at the funeral service to those who have received a personal invitation. We have however, arranged for the service to be live streamed so that those of you who would have liked to have attended the funeral but are unable to do so can still watch it by using the link below:

The funeral is due to be held on Wednesday 2nd September at 11:30am at Gedling Crematorium, Catfoot Lane, Lambley, Nottingham NG4 4QH

The Crematorium have confirmed that people can attend and stand in the grounds as long as they socially distance.

We also plan to hold a wake after the service to celebrate Mags' life which will afford the opportunity for those who weren't able to attend the funeral in person to still pay their respects and say goodbye. If you would like to attend the wake, please email Liz at ejeal@btinternet.com to confirm. As we need an indication of numbers for both catering and social distancing purposes, we would ask that you confirm by 12 noon on Friday 28th August if you plan to attend. Social distancing measures will be encouraged including the wearing of face coverings and the use of hand sanitiser.

The family respectfully request that people do not buy flowers but rather, make a donation to either the Lymphoma Action charity or the Teenage Cancer Trust.
