As you will have noticed the car park is looking much better, and bigger, thanks to some great work by a group of volunteers.
Oli Collingham has been up with his machines to level the material and Howard Marshall kindly provided the roller to compact it. Oli also procured the materials at a very low cost. Tom Rusdale along with Josh Broddell, both players who have come through from Minis, had great fun driving the roller and quad bike whilst Roni and Jan pitched in removing the larger material that was unsuitable for use. Duane Broddell stepped up and helped get the bulk of the work done on a very busy and long Saturday.
Big thank you to them all and to Steve Hall and Kelvin Macdonald who have given up hours of their time to set up the outside bar and kitchen. Director of Rugby, Pat Billam proved very adept at working out the intricacies of erecting the marquee ably assisted by Phil Molyneux, it was good fun working alongside all of them.
A great team effort young and old, thanks to them all.
Graham
