Every day since we began the ‘Paviors Family Rugby Force’ a family has come up to Burntstump and made a contribution. We are getting some great work done so a huge thank you to those who have been, some of whom want to come back, and all those who have committed next week. It’s a family scheme but we encourage individuals to come up and do their bit, there are even some jobs you could buddy up with others while maintaining social distancing, something we insist upon.
Last Wednesday Andy Carey took a day off from work and came up with wife, Louise and both their sons Oliver and Dominic. They made a start on changing room 8 and Oliver and Andy came back today to finish the job. It looks superb. Andy is our Age Group Fixture Coordinator having previously served as Mini Chair, Louise makes sure our defibrillator is always up to scratch so you old buggers should be nice to her. Oliver will be playing for next seasons Under 13’s while Dominic will be in the Under 11’s
Another cracking example of the Paviors Family Ethos making the Club better for us all.
Still plenty to do up there but there has been good representation from VP’s, Ron Clements has donated £100.00 towards paint etc because he is in self isolation, across the Mini and Juniors as well as the First and Second Teams. So a few sides that still need to pitch in which you can do by contacting me on WhatsApp 07817 105590.
Please stay safe
