Keith's funeral will be held on Friday 10th December 12.30 at Gilroes Crematorium in Leicester LE3 9QG. Keith's daughter would like to encourage people to wear something green or red in recognition of his long association with Paviors.
Keith was the last surviving Trustee of Paviors, a group of people who had the courage and vision to back the bold move to Burntstump in 1973. He remained in that position but eventually saw the need to hand over the reins with the job all but done. He was very active in forming a new group of Trustees with whom he shared his experiences of the role. Keith, along with the other Trustees, was a foundation stone on which the presented Club still firmly stands and grows.
A regular First Team winger he could often be heard shouting ‘on on on enjoy your rugby’ as he tore into the opposition. He deservedly became a Vice President and his professional advice on insurance was always readily available.
Although moving to Leicester he a regularly attended First Team games and always brought a smile with him. We have missed him over the last few years when his visits unfortunately waned.
We have had many people who have influenced the Club over the years and Keith stands tall alongside them.
A sad loss to Paviors and his family and our thoughts are with them as we fondly remember Keith
