Sunday sees 17 Under 14 Players plus Parents and Coaches setting off from the Club at 9.00am to complete a 15 mile sponsored walk. The route takes them from Burntstump down to Papplewick and then on through Newstead Abbey, Thieves and Harlow Woods, to Blidworth before returning to the club.
This is a joint fund raiser with part going towards presenting the players Club ties and the rest going into the Paviors 2022 Centenary fund which will be used to build 2 additional bespoke changing rooms, The Legacy Project.
They are the first team to make a contribution to the fund and are setting a great example for everyone to follow. All fund raising for 2022 Projects and beyond by Teams and individuals will be joint efforts where part of the money goes to that team and the rest into the pot so it’s a win win for everyone involved.
