The Board wanted a Thank You Event for our membership to acknowledge your support over the last 18 months. This has resulted with the band Freestone coming to perform live music at the Stump on Saturday 14 August. The gates open at 5pm with Freestone's first performance at c. 6.30pm and then followed by performances throughout the evening. The 1st and 2nd teams have Pre-Season friendlies at home so you might already be at the Stump, both matches kick-off at 2pm if you want to make it a whole afternoon and evening of it.
The band perform covers from the Eighties through to the Noughties and have worked all over the country. They have a strong rugby connection through involvement with Percy Park RFC.

Want to jam with the band? Bring your instrument along and join the band on stage for a jamming session.
Naturally the outside bar and kitchen will both be open - with Guiness, IPA, Estrella and Aspall's Cider on draft and both white and red wine - all will be flowing during the course of the night. We will have food specials plus the usual burgers, cheesy chips etc.
It will be a terrific evening, everyones invited, kids have the pitches to play on whilst the grown-ups soak up the atmosphere and enjoy a memorable evening. Bring some chairs/blankets.
The event is free to members and their families, otherwise it's 5.00 a head.
