Welcome
The Under 9's coaching staff are named above and I am the manager for
this age group, Nicky Kerr. As manager I do my best to keep you, the
parents, up to date with club news, fixtures & training sessions.
Any queries can be addressed to me and I can hopefully help.
Membership/ Subscriptions
To play or train, your child must be a member of Paviors RFC and
therefore must have paid their Club subscriptions. This payment is made
at the start of the season & no further subs are taken after that.
For the first child in a family the membership fee is £45.00, the
second is £20.00 and the third & subsequent child is
£5.00.
Membership payment entitles the member to use the club facilities,
apply for tickets for England games & more importantly, provides
insurance.
Your responsibilities
Players training kit should consist of layers of clothing that can be
taken off/ put on as the child gets warmer/ colder. In wet weather it
is important that the children have waterproof clothing. A dry child is
happier training than a wet one.
Rugby or football boots must be worn & have rugby studs. These can
be purchased in the club shop. Blade type boots MUST NOT be worn.
The RFU recommends gum shields for games & training.
A change of clothing is advisable in the wetter/ muddier weather, for after the session.
A match shirt will be provided on match days and players should wear
Club socks & Club shorts. Tracksuit bottoms can be worn in very
cold weather but should not have zips. Please ensure your child has
adequate clothing for the times that they are not involved in the match.
We always encourage positive praise from the sidelines.
Each child should bring a drink for training and games. We will provide
some water and encourage everyone to drink regularly throughout the
session.
Start of training
Training sessions start at 10.00am prompt, including away games.
Parking is often busy and we like to have pre-session catch up and keep you informed of what the session will involve.
Please let me know if you will be leaving your child at any time so as not to turn us into a child-minding service!
End of training
Depending on the weather, we usually finish between 11.30am &
12.00pm and would request that all parents are there to collect their
children. Also we can update you on the following weeks
arrangements.
